Payroll Bundals›Transport
Transport and fleet owners

Payroll software for transport, where the trip is the unit of pay.

Drivers are paid for the trips they run, loaders for the days they turn up, and the office is on a monthly salary. Payroll Bundals keeps a trip count for each driver and turns it into wages at month end, with every advance already taken off.

Who is paid how

Trips, days and months in the same salary run.

In People you choose how each person is paid. "Per trip" is one of the choices, next to monthly, daily and hourly.

Seven of the 24 people in the demo company. Every way of paying is in the same list.

The sample is Umiya Engineering Works, the one demo company on this site. It is a factory in Ahmedabad, not a transport office. In your list a driver's line reads "Per trip", with the trips and the rate, in place of "Per piece".

The trip count

One number per driver, per day. That is the whole register.

Most trip disputes are about one or two trips nobody wrote down. The count lives in one place, and it is closed when the month is locked.

Open the month and type each driver's trips for a day, or one total for the month if that is how you keep it.
Each driver has one rate per trip. The screen shows trips × rate as you type.
When the salary for a month is locked, its trip count can no longer be changed.
Loaders stay on attendance. Suresh Vaghela in the sample is a loader on ₹500 a day, with 12 hours of overtime.
Salary day

Settling the month with drivers and loaders.

The month end is the Pay app. A fleet owner can run it from a phone between two calls.

Step 1Check daysLoaders and office staff are checked against attendance. Any missing out time is settled first.
Step 2Extras and cutsApproved overtime and expense claims come in. Advances given during the month are cut by themselves.
Step 3ReviewEach driver's line shows the trips and the rate. Each loader's line shows the days. Read the list once.
Step 4PayLock the month. Drivers with an account go on the sheet for net banking, others on the UPI list or the cash sheet.
What your people see

The driver checks his own balance, not your diary.

A driver is rarely at the office on salary day. His link shows what was paid and what advance is still to be returned, wherever he is.

A driver can ask for an advance from the link. You say yes or no in Approvals.
A toll or fuel bill can be claimed from the same link, with a photo.

A straight answer

What it does, and what it does not.

What it does
Per-trip pay from a count you keep by day or by month.
Daily wages for loaders and monthly salary for the office, in the same run.
Advances cut from wages by themselves, with the balance visible to the driver.
Toll, parking and fuel claims with a bill photo, paid back with salary.
A cash sheet with a box to sign for people paid in cash.
Payslips for every locked month.
What it does not do
It has one rate per trip for each driver. Different rates for different routes or loads are not built; use a monthly total you work out yourself, or add the difference as an extra.
It does not track vehicles, routes, diesel or kilometres run by a truck.
It does not work out overtime for a person paid per trip. Overtime is for monthly, daily and hourly people.
It does not pay wages every week. A weekly payment is recorded as an advance.
It does not move money. You upload the sheet in your own net banking.

It is a salary and attendance product for the people of a transport business. It is not fleet or trip management software.

Questions transport owners ask

Yes. You can type one total for the month for a driver, or keep the count day by day. Both end up as trips × rate.
Not directly. Each driver has one rate per trip. If your rates differ by route, the honest answer is that you would work out the difference yourself and add it as an extra in the salary run.
Record each one in Advances and Loans on the day it is given and choose how much comes back each month. The cut is made in the salary run by itself.
A per-trip driver is paid on the trip count, not on days. Attendance can still be marked for the record.
No. It knows nothing about vehicles or routes. It pays people.
