Overtime

Overtime calculation software that waits for your yes.

Extra hours are found from the in and out times you already mark. Nothing is paid as overtime until it is approved, and approved hours are added to that month's salary on their own.

How it works

From extra hours to the payslip.

You set the rules once. After that, overtime is a list you say yes or no to.

Approved first

An extra hour is not overtime until you say so.

Someone who waits for a lift home is not working late. So hours found from the times are only a suggestion, and each one shows what it would cost before you agree.

Every waiting entry shows the person, the day, the hours and what it would add.
The month page lists the normal rate and the overtime rate for each person.
A person who goes over the limit shown for three months is flagged.

What it does, and what it does not.

What it does
Finds days with extra hours from the in and out times.
Works out each person's overtime rate from their own pay and your rules.
Holds every entry until it is approved, unless you switch approval off.
Adds approved overtime to the salary run and the payslip.
Shows what the law says beside your own rules, and warns you if your rate is lower.
What it does not do
It does not work out overtime for people paid per piece, per trip or per lecture.
It does not read a punching machine. Times are the ones marked in Today.
It does not settle the legal rate or limit for you. Those figures are shown to be confirmed with your CA.
It does not add a night shift allowance.
It does not add overtime to a month that is already locked.
