Payroll Bundals›Factories and workshops
Factories and workshops

Payroll software for factories, where no two people are paid alike.

A workshop has a supervisor on a monthly salary, packers on a daily wage and machine operators paid for every piece. Payroll Bundals works all three out in one salary run, from the attendance and the piece count you already keep.

Who is paid how

Three ways of paying under one roof.

You set how each person is paid once, in People. After that the month end is the same four steps for everybody.

Monthly salary, cut for days not worked: the monthly rate × days paid ÷ working days in the month.

Daily wage: the day rate × days present. An approved paid leave or paid holiday is paid at the day rate.

Machine operators on piece rate
Pieces made each day × the rate of that item. You can set a floor for the day; a worker who earns less is topped up to it.
Piece Work
Anyone who stays late
Extra time is read from the in and out times, in blocks, and waits for your yes before it is paid.
Overtime, then Approvals
A line or a team
A bonus for each member when the team reaches the target you set for the month, or for a month with every working day present.

The shop floor

Count the pieces daily. The sum is done for you.

Piece rate goes wrong when the count sits in a notebook until the 30th. Here the supervisor types each worker's pieces at the end of the day, item by item, and the month total builds itself.

Each item has its own rate. If you change a rate, earlier days keep the rate that was in force on that day.
A piece worker can open their link and see the count entered for them so far this month.
Overtime is never paid by itself. Each entry shows the hours and what it would add, and you approve or refuse it.
A team bonus shows how far the team is from the target, so nobody argues about it later.
Salary day

Month end on the shop floor, in four steps.

One person can do this from a phone or the office computer. It is the Pay app, and it runs the same way every month.

Step 1Check daysDays come from Today. A worker with an in time and no out time is listed first and must be settled before you go on.
Step 2Extras and cutsPiece earnings, approved overtime and bonuses are added. Advances are cut by themselves. PF, ESI and Professional Tax follow fixed rules.
Step 3ReviewOne list with every person, how they are paid and the salary to pay. Read it before any money moves.
Step 4PayLock the month. You get a sheet for net banking, a UPI list and a cash sheet to sign, and you mark each one as paid.
What your people see

A link, not another app to install.

Each worker has their own link. Most factory workers will only ever look at two things on it: what was paid and what advance is left.

The payslip for every locked month, in plain words.
The advance balance, the same figure you see.
A piece worker also sees their own count for the month.
A worker with no phone gets a printed payslip.

A straight answer

What it does, and what it does not.

What it does
Monthly, daily, hourly and per-piece people in the same salary run.
Piece rates per item, with a daily floor you choose.
Overtime from in and out times, paid only after approval.
Advances and loans cut from wages in the parts you chose.
The monthly PF sheet and ESI sheet, made for you or your CA to upload.
Wage registers and payslips from the same locked month.
What it does not do
It does not connect to a punching machine. Attendance is marked on a screen by you or a supervisor.
It does not read the piece count from your machines or your production software. Someone types it.
It does not fill in minimum wage rates. You or your CA type the rates for your state and it checks each worker against them.
It does not upload anything to a government site or pay any dues.
It does not pay wages every week. Money given mid-month is recorded as an advance.

Every figure the law sets, such as the overtime rate, must be checked with your CA before you rely on it.

Questions factory owners ask

Yes. Each person has their own way of being paid, and they all go through the same salary run.
If you have set a floor for the day in Piece Work, a worker who earns less than it is topped up to it. The floor is a figure you type in; none is filled in for you.
No, and none can be connected today. The supervisor marks the team in Today on a phone or a computer.
No. Overtime entries wait in Approvals. Only approved entries reach the salary run.
No. It makes the sheets in the layout the government sites ask for. You or your CA upload them with your own login.
